This new girl Kavya has brought in a fresh vibe of energy into Anjali. As they were walking towards the class room in the hall way, Anjali’s eyes struck light. She saw a poster of a talent show. In fact she was imagining herself with that trophy in her hands held high.

Now this image of her wanted to take part in the show. Kavya helped her through out the registration process. But, the head of the talent hunt was Sharon, the mean girl. Now, Anjali was pretty sure that Sharon made sure she did not win it. What Anjali was not aware is that Sharon would be trying her best to not let Anjali even perform. That image of trophy in her hand was now replaced with her dreams shattered.

And what was the reason, It was pretty obvious. Just that Anjali did not wear short skirts, she did not look modern and she is not stylish. Seems lame. Doesn’t it…?

Thanks to Rehan, he made sure that Anjali gets a chance at least to showcase her talent. The fact that Rehan is Sharon’s so called boyfriend doing this, cannot be digested.

You always have a 2^nd chance

Now, its Anjali’s turn. It is just a talent hunt. But Anjali was different. She had to do something different , had to think something out of the box to stand out in the crowd.

It took 3 sleepless nights and 4 evenings to bring out an idea of passion to prepare an act for the show.

Finally, the day has come. The day when she has got a chance to prove that small town girls are all not dumb.

Unlike every one, she crept up the stage from behind. Why ? Because, she wanted to grab attention with her work, not with her looks.

Because it was a puppet show, she stood behind the screen. She wanted to let all her hard work speak. She has got handmade puppets portraying the epic Cinderella story. Now this notion was out of the box.

The audience loved it. Since the idea was cute small and fresh. People living in cities, all of us know what puppet shows are all about. But still her act was successful because the execution was lovely. Anjali rose to fame all of a sudden.

Finally, she has won it. The competition. As expected, Anjali has got many proposals and letters that evening asking for a date. But all of them were through a phone or a latter or from a third person.

Its time to collect the prize for her act. Now all the guys were expecting a hot and happening girl on stage. To their astonishment, they had to see Anjali taking the trophy in her hands with pride.

Luckily, people who are sensible and value art, congratulated and felt happy for her.

Don’t know why, But Sharon still hates Anjali. May be because her boyfriend seems to have a soft spot for Anjali. And the thing is it looks even Anjali is enjoying this attention.

2 weeks passed by and Anjali was overwhelmed with her success. One more week and Enter the exam zone.
Done with the exams. Not on the top but, Anjali has surely outdone Rehan, Sharon, Kavya and all the others in the lot.

The next day was a shock to every one. When Anjali entered the class, she looked no less than a goddess. Thanks to Kavya for her transformation. Her dull skin
turned into a beautiful dusky tone, her perfectly oiled hair was now let loose, the first button of her shirt was left open, the skirt seemed to have been trimmed up a few inches may be just above the knee, socks were rolled down. Just a pinch of make up and now our Anjali has from Kajol to Rani Mukherjee in Kuch Kuch Hota Hain.

As expected, feeling shy, Rehan felt weak in his kness, went ahead and asked Anjali out for a date.

Who would have thought in their wildest dreams that Anjali would go on a date with Rehan, under the clear sky, with the beach water, touching their feet, amidst flowers and soothing music.!!!

How good does it feel having that luscious chocolate over your lips on a date and especially when it is fed by your love…!

She was experiencing all these things for the first time . This heavenly feeling of pressing her lips over his love’s lips blew her mind.

Yes, Anjali’s transformation was not necessary, but she changed because she wanted to. And yes, the change was only physical. She was still the same old

Not everything you want, turns out to be the way you wish.

Waking up to the sweet voice of her lovely mom, Anjali came back to reality from her dreams of royalty.

Yes, Anjali was a small town girl. Hailing from a small place, around 50kms from Vizag, Anjali had to move to Mumbai because of her dad’s commitments. Initially, she had 2nd thoughts of moving to this City of dreams. But eventually, the taunts of her mischievous friends intrigued her. Rather brought glitter in her thoughts of shifting her base. After all, she was the only girl visiting a big city in her circle. So, finally she reaches the city. Sapnon ki maya nagri, Mumbai.

Since, her dream is broken now, she wakes up and gets ready for her 1st day in school. She was good in her academics and stuff. So, she didn’t want to be back even in discipline.

Coming out of her house, she realized that Life is not always a fairytale. Since, she was very much pampered as a child, this sudden change and modern surroundings shocked her.

Anjali struggled to reach her school, coz she was geographically challenged.

At the school gate, she saw girls with short skirts ending above their knees getting down from huge cars. Guys getting down from their monstrous bikes, yelling, hugging, getting cozy, weird accent and all of this was very new to her. And she was astonished to see not even a single guy or girl with the 1st button of their shirts put on, or any one with school shoes except for sneakers.

Now, finding her class room seemed to be a huge task for her. So, she got this preconceived notion of asking someone thinking that someone would actually help her.12C, she said reaching out to a girl, who was busy chewing her gum. Sharon saw Anjali from head to toe and left the place ignoring her.

Anjali felt naked. Though she was the most dressed girl of the whole lot, she felt bare.

Not everyone you see would help you. So, don’t you dare even expect.

Her eye lashes became wet coz of this encounter.

She still went ahead with the thought of never lose hope, never lose faith. Both within yourself.

The mere encounters in the college turned out to indimidate this small town girl.Will this new girl turn out to b the same way ???????
Or Will she help dis girl to blossom or will it let her shrivel...????????
